13 of 50: The Samuel Peto (Folkestone)

We live pretty close to Folkestone, and I had googled, and it told me there was a spoons just down the road, so I convinced the wife it would be a good time to visit.  Being lazy I used the post code in the sat nav and off we went.   We found a small carpark which I must have been passed hundreds of times, and yet did not know was there..  Easy to park, then walk around the corner, up the road, and then, well.  Wow, what an outside of a pub.  How did I not know this was here.  I have visited the 'all you can eat' on the corner many times (too many!).  The wife and I went in and were blown away with this lovely pub.  It was busy, so we went upstairs and sat in a pew.  I went and ordered food and drink, which thanks to the dumb waiter (no not the young lad who served me), arrived quickly.  Long story short, loved it.  I am sure we will be back.
